Campus safety is a serious problem that is worth our attention in education, especially when tragic events happened. The stampede at a middle school in Hunan Province which took eight teenagers' lives and injured 26 others still stuck in our mind.
The tragic events serve as a warning sign to call on everyone to protect campus. Schools across the country should treat safety education seriously and put it into action compulsorily. Besides, they should revise their emergency preparedness plans and tighten security. For example, security guards should patrol campus seriously such as teaching buildings and student dorms, and enforce strict entrance checks, barring entry to anyone carrying a gun or a knife.
As students, we should strengthen our knowledge of safety, which requires us to be alert to some potential hazards in our daily life. For example, lock the dorm at night or whenever we are alone in dorm.

However, in recent years campus security is being threatened. For example some people, who have been through something bad will take revenge on the society. So they can easily success. It's high time that we should take measures to keep a safe campus. First of all, the school should hire more responsible janitors and make specific rules to prevent the social people from stepping into the campus. Campus security does have a serious effect on our students’ life. For example, theft and robbery can lead to financial difficulties and increase juvenile delinquency. In addition, if things are stolen all the time, there can be worries and horrors among students. More severely, they can distrust each other.

Of course, we should be more careful with our properties and don’t leave them unwatched.

Besides, a proper amount of security guards should be arranged to patrol the campus.
一方面，我們學生呢個應該加強我們的安全意識。一旦我們察覺到什么異常，我們就應該立刻向學校保安處報告。另一方面，應該安裝個多諸如監視器之類的設備以盡快查出罪犯。此外，應安排適量的保安人員巡邏校園。
In my opinion, campus security will be improved as long as efforts are made on campus. Therefore, colleges and universities should try their best to make everyone on campus safe and sound。

There is no denying that safety plays an important part in our daily life. Recently our school has carried out a program aiming at increasing our safety awareness.
I consider this as indeed a good practice, which will remind us that safety should always come first in our daily life, whether when we stay at school or outside it. For example, when we are doing sports, we should attach great importance to safety and avoid being hurt. Besides, we should follow the traffic rules when we are going to school or when we are on our way back home.
I firmly believe that we should develop a good sense of safety and do everything safely.
